Control of Anoplophora chinensis in China
In experiments carried out in China, six insecticides were tested as trunk injections against Anoplophora chinensis (EPPO A1 quarantine pest) tunnelling in Casuarina equisetifolia in forests in Zhejiang Province (new detailed record). Omethoate and monocrotophos, applied at 5 ml/larval tunnel were 91-100 % effective.
