Cherry leaf roll nepovirus found in Rubus in Czechoslovakia
During a three-year survey in Czechoslovakia 126 populations of wild Rubus sp. were collected and tested for virus infection and the presence of nematodes.
95 populations were either infected by arabis mosaic nepovirus, tomato black ring nepovirus (CEC quarantine disease), cherry leaf roll nepovirus (EPPO A2 list) and cucumber mosaic cucumovirus or by mixtures of these viruses.
No correlation was found between the frequency of the investigated viruses and the distance of the collected Rubus populations from orchards.
