New records of A1 and A2 pests in Near East
According to the Arab and Near East Plant Protection Newsletter, published by the Arab Society of Plant Protection and the Near East Regional Office of FAO, the following new records of Al and A2 pests have been made in the Near East:
Cyprus : Parabemisia myricae*
Lebanon : Liriomyza trifolii
Syria : plum pox virus
Yemen Arab Republic : Citrus greening bacterium
Trioza erytreae
* now proposed by Working Party on Phytosanitary Regulations to EPPO Council for the A2 list.
