New record of Globodera rostochiensis in Hungary
Infestation by Globodera rostochiensis has been observed for the first time in Hungary, in a limited area of the frontier band of Alsonémedi in Pest country. This is an area where for several years, early potatoes have been produced in monoculture, using imported potato seed tubers. The infestation has been localized and the necessary steps for eradication have been taken.
