During the EPPO PRA (2023, in progress), it was noted that although Guangxi is reported in literature as a province where A. mali was registered (e.g. Li & Zhang, 2017), this record is doubtful because the this province is not suitable for Malus. Volkovitsh et al. (2020) could not trace back the exact localities for this province. an
