Comments
First found and eradicated in Key West, Florida, in 1934/37; and in Brownsville, Texas, in 1955/56 (Smith & Maltby, 1964). Reintroduction and establishment occurred in Texas in 1971 and in Florida in 1976 (USDA, 1971, 1976).
