EPPO Reporting Service (2001/135) : a small population found in a small avenue over a length of a few 100 m, in Braunau (near the German border, in Oberösterreich). All infested trees were destroyed .
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/073) : still confined to Braunau. Number of infested trees has declined.
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/044) : still confined to Braunau. Number of infested trees declined from 2001 to 2006. However in 2007, 2 new outbreaks were found in the city of Braunau. New infested trees were also detected in 2008. Eradication efforts are continuing in Austria.
EPPO Reporting Service (2013/163) : successfully eradicated from Braunau. An isolated outbreak was discovered in July 2012 in Geinberg (1 exit hole, 3 trees infested with larvae), as all infested trees were destroyed an no other signs of the insect were detected in the delimited area, eradication is considered achievable.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/003) : successful eradication of the outbreak found in 2012 in Geinberg (near St Georgen bei Obernberg). Eradication continues in Gallspach.
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/080) : detailed update. Only one delimited area remains in Gallspach (Oberösterreich) where the pest was found in November 2013. In 2017, official surveys did not detect the pest in Gallspach. Eradication continues.
