EPPO Reporting Service (1998/200) : an alert to this newly important pest, which is proposed for the EPPO A1 List.
EPPO Reporting Service (2003/147) : previously detected in imported consignments only, but now (2003) found in one location in Ontario. Considered a major risk to growers of Acer saccharum
EPPO Reporting Service (2006/025) : regulated area established in 2004 to prevent spread. Additional infested trees found in this area in Toronto and Vaughan in Sep 2005; 2000 more trees removed
EPPO Reporting Service (2007/047) : no new finds in 2006, but a cluster of 16 infested trees found in Jan 2007.
EPPO Reporting Service (2013/076) : in April 2013, the NPPO of Canada officially announced the eradication of A. glabripennis from its territory.
EPPO Reporting Service (2014/022) : found again in September 2013 in an industrial area near Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. Under official control.
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/127) : based on the number of infested trees and degree of attack, the Mississauga outbreak of 2013 was a small and isolated infestation. All infested trees were destroyed. As of July 2015, follow-up surveys did not detect the pest. Eradication continues.
