Anastrepha striata(ANSTST)

Distribution details in United States of America

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2021: Absent, intercepted only
Comments
Rarely trapped in the past (once in Texas, and a few times in California), but breeding populations never established. It is considered that these isolated findings were most probably linked to infested fruit having been brought into the USA. In 2021, the absence of the pest was confirmed by USDA-APHIS.
