EPPO Reporting Service (1995/053): first found in 1985 in one farm near Hereford. In 1990/1991, survey showed presence in 8 of 10 sugarbeet-growing counties. Together with unnamed virus Texas 7 in 5 counties. Beet distortion mosaic also found in 4 Texas counties.
