First recorded in: 2013
Comments
First specimens were found in the Arboretum of Szarvas (Békés County) on 1 Quercus macranthera and 1 Q. petraea tree in May 2013, and a few days later on a Q. alba in the Vácrátót Botanical Garden. It then spread to other parts of the country. Extensive damage has been recorded in Southeastern Hungary.
