EPPO Reporting Service (2006/146) : detected for the first time on the island of Ngazidja (as B. invadens).

The pest was fortuitously caught in a methyl-eugenol trap in August 2005 (pers. com, 2009).

Hassani et al. (2022): present in the 3 islands, on 27 host plant species.
