EPPO Reporting Service (2010/106) : in September 2008, 3 adult moths were caught in light traps in 2 separate locations in the south of England (Icklesham (East Sussex) and Weybridge (Surrey)). In 2009, a nursery in Surrey reported larvae causing severe damage to Buxus plants.
EPPO Reporting Service (2019/118) : the first specimen was in fact observed in September 2007 in Wye (East Kent, England). Then also found in Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
