Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, in all parts of England, only in some areas in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Eradicated in Channel Islands (2014-06)

Comments
Present in the southern part of England, and in Northern Ireland (since 2007).

From country itself (1992): present in the southern half of Great Britain (south of Preston). Not in Scotland or Northern Ireland. Nurseries subject to regulation.

EPPO Reporting Service (1993/69) : absence from Northern Ireland confirmed. Outbreaks only in 1986 on ornamentals such as Cotoneaster and Pyracantha; after eradication, no further outbreaks.
