EPPO Reporting Service (2013/005) : first found in 2009 in nurseries on Pinus taeda seedlings.
EPPO Reporting Service (2022/019) : investigations showed that the source of the above detection was an infected seed lot imported from the USA. Eradication measures were taken in all nurseries concerned and official survey carried out across the country confirmed the absence of the fungus. In 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture of Uruguay considered that F. circinatum has been succesfully eradicated and officially confirmed the absence of F. circinatum.
