EPPO Reporting Service (2022/191) : first found during faunistic studies around the lake of Reghaia (Northern Algeria) between September 2013 and April 2014. Initially identified as Graphocephala fennahi, when re-examined later, it was identifed as G. versuta. Found again in August 2019 in a vineyard in the region of Skikda.
