Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2020/235) : the pest was first collected in 2018 in the municipality of Pombal. Then found in other municipalities (Braga, Coimbra and Lisbon).

EPPO Reporting Service (2023/055) : records provided via social media / citizen science platforms and verified by entomologists show a rapid spread of the insect across Portugal (specimens found in the districts of Aveiro, Beja, Braga, Bragança, Coimbra, Leiria, Lisboa, Porto, Viana do Castelo, and Madeira) and a sharp increase in numbers of occurrences.
