Comments
EPPO Reporting Service 460 (1985): first report in 1 plot of seed potatoes, in the Kjustendil district.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/052) : in a soil survey, found in 85 localities out of 256. Highest populations in Smolyan, Velingrad and Samokov regions.

EPPO Reporting Service (2004/077) : found in a few areas in surveys in 2001/2003 (96 ha in all).

During surveys carried out between 2004 and 2006, 10 540 soil samples (from 32 887 ha of potatoes) were tested and 36% were infested by Globodera spp. Infestations were found in 5 regions: Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Plovdiv, Pazardzik, Smolian (Laginova & Hristova, 2009).
