EPPO Reporting Service (2012/006) : during a survey on Heterodera species, cysts and second-stage juveniles (J2) of H. zeae were recovered from soil samples collected near a fig tree (Ficus carica) and from two maize fields in three different localities in the Central region: Pego (municipality of Abrantes), São Facundo (municipality of Abrantes) and Granja (municipality of Coimbra).
