EPPO Reporting Service (2004/083) : found in 2003, in natural forests of the Qilian Mountains, Qinghai Province on Sabina przewalskii (syn. Juniperus przewalskii).
According to Wang et al. (2022), the fungus isolated from Juniperus prezewalskii in Qinhai is Coniferiporia qilianensis, other records from China correspond to C. sulphurascens.
