Introduced but in the process of acclimatization. First found in 1994 near Preveza in irrigated fields (e.g. maize and cotton). Serious weed of spring crops all along the Louros and Acheron rivers (Preveza Prefecture), and in the area of Philipiada (Arta Prefecture).
