EPPO Reporting Service (2012/121) : detected in commercial fields of carrots in mainland Spain (Comunidad Valenciana, Castilla-La-Mancha and Castilla Léon) and in Tenerife (Islas Canarias). The bacterium has also been found in Apium graveolens crops, and in association with two psyllid species: Trioza apicalis and Bactericera trigonica.
EPPO Reporting Service (2013/036) : new haplotype identified and associated with carrots/Bactericera trigonica.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/134) : haplotype E detected in potatoes in stores in Cantabria.
EPPO Reporting Service (2021/146) : following the detection of haplotype E in stored potatoes in Cantabria (see above), further surveys have confirmed that the pathogen has been eradicated and is absent in potato production.
