EPPO Reporting Service (1997/222) : the East African form of lethal yellowing, which is distinct from the West African and Caribbean forms, occurs in Kenya as well as in Tanzania where it was originally described.

EPPO Reporting Service (1999/109) : phytoplasma isolates from Kenya and Tanzania are similar. But they are both distinct from Mozambique isolates,
