Comments
Sharma & Saxena (1959) in Rev. Mycol. (Paris) refer to aster yellows-like symptoms on potato near Lucknow. Other phytoplasmas have since been described infecting potato in India (see Purple to-top wilt phytoplasma in QPE 2nd edition), and this record no doubt refers to one of them.
