Comments
Native to North America, not reported to spread, except for its appearance in Canada and an isolated record made in 1948 in Denmark (where the fungus no longer occurs). Mainly east of the Rocky Mountains: central and eastern states from New Jersey to Nebraska and to the southern limits of apple growing in the Mississippi valley.
