EPPO Reporting Service (2018/187) : detected for the first time in 2018 in potato tubers from 2 properties in the Canterbury region (South Island).

From ProMed (2019): a national survey confirmed that the disease occurs throughout the country. Eradication is no longer considered feasible.

Falloon et al. (2024): low incidence in potato production.
