Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2015/030) : first found in the regions of Vienna and Niederösterreich on a few trees, under eradication.

From NPPO (2018-03): found on young trees in the regions of Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. Eradication measures are applied, however the bacteria is considered as established in these regions.

EPPO Reporting Service (2018/142) : found in Styria (Steirmark) in 5 chestnut trees (Aesculus x carnea) in a garden in the municipality of Fohnsdorf. All infected trees have been destroyed.

NPPO (2021): the outbreak in Styria is eradicated. However, the organism is considered to be present at low prevalence in Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland.
