EPPO Reporting Service (1997/111) : R. solanacearum (race 3) has never occurred in Switzerland. In tests and surveys done in 1995 and 1996, the only positive result was in one intercepted consignment of ware potatoes from Turkey.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/085) : R. solanacearum (race 1) found in 2 sites of cut flower production of roses (Rosa spp.) in the cantons of Bern and Solothurn. Under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/084) : update of the above, in total 5 rose production sites were found infected in the cantons of Bern, Solothurn and Zürich. Eradication continues.
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/201) : the outbreaks on roses (see above) were successfully eradicated.
EPPO Reporting Service (2023/187) : Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum found on Zingiber officinale in seven cantons. Under eradication.
