EPPO Reporting Service (2021/126) : first found in a garden center in Hesse. Under eradication.
NPPO (2021-09): infested plants imported from Italy were found in 2 garden centers in Bayern in April 2021 (55 Callistemon plants had been imported in total), and in 1 garden center in Baden-Württemberg (54 Chamaerops humilis and 54 Phoenix canariensis). Some plants were already sold to final consumers. All the others were destroyed.
