From NAPPO (2002-04-11): records in California and Texas date back to 1918, and the pest has not been found since.

From NPPO (2012-06-18): found twice in Alamo, Texas.

From Hoddle et al. (2020): there are no reports of established populations in Texas or palm mortality.
