Reported present by Irish Plant Protection Service in mid-1970s and thus included in first edition of EPPO data sheet. However, this is clearly an error, since the disease is unknown in Ireland, and planting material of strawberry has only ever been introduced from Netherlands and UK, where the disease is not present.
