EPPO Reporting Service (2003/028) : widespread in glasshouse tomatoes in Peloponnese, Macedonia, islands of Poros, Rhodos, Kriti. Few reports from field-grown tomatoes.

EPPO Reporting Service (2016/108) : detected in the weed species Dittrichia viscosa which had been left in a tomato greenhouse to attract and sustain populations of Macrolophus caliginosus, a biocontrol agent used against the whitefly Trialeurodes vaporariorum.
