Only Entre Ríos, Corrientes and Misiones. Absent from Tucuman, Catamarca, Salta and Jujuy. Subject to internal phytosanitary measures.
Since the mid-1980s, X.c. pv. citri strains previously associated with cancrosis B have not been isolated from naturally infected trees.

EU Commission Decision 98/83 of 8 January 1998 recognizes certain areas in Argentina as free from all strains of Xanthomonas campestris pathogenic to citrus: Catamarca, Jujuy, Salta, Tucuman.
