From Carillo et al. (2015): populations of E. nr. fornicatus were detected in a commercial avocado orchard in south Florida in 2012. Subsequent surveys revealed low populations in 7 additional avocado orchards, but Fusarium dieback has not been observed yet in Florida avocados.
