Reporting Service 520/15 of 1992-02: found locally.
Reporting Service 526/16 of 1992-08: Bayern and other states, certainly since 1990-05 and probably since late 1989.
By 1996, considered to be absent, only occasionally intercepted. However, an outbreak was found in 1996 in a nursery in Sachsen-Anhalt, on imported verbena plants. Appropriate quarantine and control measures are being taken.
EPPO Reporting Service (1998/203) : found in the zoo at Berlin, on tomatoes grown in a glasshouse for feeding the animals. Plants were destroyed.
EPPO Reporting Service (1998/213) : found on outdoor vegetables in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, but did not survive the following winter.
According to EPPO Conference in Pruhonice (1998), occurs locally and temporarily.
EPPO Reporting Service (2000/138) : found in 1998 on tomatoes in a nursery near Berlin. Chemical treatments were applied but the pest was found again. Status is "Present: only in some areas".
