Distribution details in Hungary
Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated
1997: Absent, confirmed by survey
From NPPO: Absent, confirmed by survey
Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (97/217): two wheat consignments from Hungary were rejected in Turkey, purportedly because of the presence of T. indica. This fungus has never been found in Hungary. This was further confirmed by a survey of cereal stores at places of production and loading sites. A single sample was found infested by Tilletia foetida, which is not a quarantine pest.
