EPPO Reporting Service (2003/079) : found in 4 rhododendrons at one nursery in King's county.

EPPO Reporting Service (2005/160) : 16 infested sites (nurseries) in Washington State in 2005.

From State of Washington, Department of Agriculture (2022): occasionaly found in nurseries, but any infected nursery material is systematically destroyed. Surveys which have been conducted since 2003 confirmed that P. ramorum has never been detected in the natural environment. The pest status of P. ramorum in Washington State is officially declared as 'Absent, eradicated'.
