EPPO Reporting Service (2003/078) : found in a rhododendron plant in a nursery in British Columbia. Strict measures to prevent further spread
NAPPO annual meeting 2004: also found in British Columbia in camellias from US. Also under strict control.
From NPPO (2009): detected on plants at 3 nurseries, 2 retail and 1 whosale in the urban area of Greater Vancouver (British Columbia) in 2009. Infected plants were destroyed.
From NPPO (2023): since 2003, Phytophthora ramorum has been detected in a number of retail/wholesale nurseries in the southern coastal area of British Columbia. Detected in one nursery in 2022-2023. Under eradication.
