EPPO Reporting Service (1999/094) : found in fruit orchards in Lublin area in a survey for scale insects of 1990/1994.
EPPO Reporting Service (2013/144) : the NPPO of Poland officially denied the earlier record of PQR (see above). This record was based an English abstract of a paper written in Polish (Łagowska & Golan, 1998) which had misinterpreted the full paper. Although this scale had indeed been found in the past (1948-1949), it is no longer found in Poland (confirmed by survey).
EPPO Reporting Service (2020/120) : found in an orchard of Malus domestica in October 2015. In 2016-2019, visual inspections confirmed the absence of the pest.
From Golan (2020): now established in Poland.
