EPPO Reporting Service (2008/138) : discovered in mid-August 2007 on walnut trees near Chabreuil, it was later trapped in 13 communes (all in Drôme department, Rhône-Alpes region), under official control.
EPPO Reporting Service (2010/182) : now widespread in the South of France and there is one isolated record in the North (on walnut trees in private gardens, in Ile-de-France).
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/038) : widespread in the South of France (both south-east and south-west) and further reported in the Northern part (Alsace and Ile-de-France); indicating that that pest continues to spread.
Also found in Corse near Ajaccio in 2018.
