EPPO Reporting Service (2017/060) : first found in mother plants of Vaccinium corymbosum in a nursery (outdoors) in the region of Alto Minho. All infected plants have been destroyed.
From NPPO (2018): one outbreak in an orchard of Vaccinium corymbosum (outdoors) in the municipality of Vila verde (Centro region). Control measures included fungicide application and hygiene and sanitation to prevent spread. Another outbreak in a nursery in Idanha-A-Nova (Centro region) who had sold part of the lot to an operator in Alentajo region. Infested plants destroyed.
