Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/155) : first found in Catalonia in 2013 where is it considered to be established (5 municipalities covering 58 km²). Also found in Comunidad Valenciana in July 2018 in several municipalities (Almenara, Sagunto, Quartell).

EPPO Reporting Service (2022/001) : in Catalonia the infestation spread from 4 towns and 44.1 km² in 2018 to 12 towns and 378.1 km² in 2020. In a studied location (town of Barberà del Vallès), infested trees rose from 16.21% in February 2016 to 59.29% in December 2018.
