Found in 1990 in southern Croatia (near the river Neretva).

EPPO Reporting Service (1999/025) : the old record in Yugoslavia (found for example in DMQPE) no doubt refers to presence along the Adriatic coast of Croatia. The pest is not present in Serbia.

EPPO Reporting Service (2007/027) : stem-pitting strains detected.
